Hop Madness mentioned in the Seattle Beer Blotter

Friday, August 26th, 2011

Hop Madness was recently mentioned in the Seattle Beer Blotter. Check out the following excerpt:

I have a few questions for you.  Are you ready?

Are you a homebrewer?  If so, are you aware of Hopmadness?  No big deal, it’s only the largest gathering of home brewers and home brewing clubs in the Pacific Northwest.

Are you aware of fresh/wet hop beer?  If so, are you aware that the Pacific Northwest is the absolute best place in the world to be for such beers?

If you are both a homebrewer and a lover of fresh hop beers, would you be interested in brewing your own fresh hop beer?

Thought so.  It sounds like Hopmadness is right up your alley

Hop Madness less then two weeks away!

Sunday, August 21st, 2011

Hop Madness is less then two weeks away and this is a reminder that you should buy tickets online rather then in person. There’s a couple of reasons to do this:

  1. Saves you money. Tickets purchased online are only 10 dollars per person vs 13 dollars per person at the door
  2. Allows us to estimate how many people are coming
  3. Allows us to make sure we have enough fresh hops for people to pick.

So what are you waiting for? Head over to the Purchase Tickets page and get one today!

Cornhole tournament at Hop Madness?

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

There was an idea thrown around the other night and we’re interested in finding out how many people would want to do a Cornhole tournament at Hop Madness. Please take the time and answer the poll on the right hand side of the page. If there’s enough interest we will see if we can get some type of prize for the winning team.

For those who don’t know what Cornhole is, here’s a link to the American Cornhole Association page showing how to play:
